WHO WE WANT: We are looking for a clinical therapist. Licensed master level clinicians are preferred, but master level associates with the right experience and set of skills will also be considered. Full time or part time position available, but full time is preferred. Ability to work some evenings or weekends a major plus.

WHO YOU ARE: We are looking for someone who is professional, warm and LGBTQ affirming. The right candidate will be able to work independently, is highly motivated, competent with technology, ready and open to learn, is a great team player, and has excellent communication skills. MFT’s are a great fit for our office, as we see our fair share of couples and individuals dealing with systemic relationship transitions and concerns. Other master level clinicians should have experience/training in working with systemic dynamics and feel not only confident and comfortable, but excited to work with systemic issues.

Responsibilities

Therapist responsibilities include:

  • Providing outpatient therapy to professional, creative and high-functioning individuals, couples and families.
  • Taking clients from intake to discharge by providing theory-based treatment, optimizing opportunities for client success.
  • Completing progress notes and other paperwork through our online EHR system per best practice standards.
  • Communicating with clients, administration and colleagues promptly, warmly and professionally in person, as well as over phone, text and e-mail.
  • Attending weekly staff meetings and bi-monthly administrative supervision.
  • Managing billing and scheduling of individual caseload with the support of administration.
  • Consistent and committed self-education and CEU seeking around special issues to improve expertise and quality service delivery.
  • Offering creative and innovative ideas and solutions for community building and outreach.
  • Contributing to the health and reputation of the Simple Modern Therapy brand through excellent client care and promotion of a positive work culture.
Qualifications

Applicants must have a masters degree in a related field and:

  • LCSW, CMHC, LMFT or provisional license
  • Experience working with systemic dynamics or a strong desire to work with systemic dynamics, especially couples therapy
  • Commitment to continuing education around systemic issues and couples therapy
  • LGBT affirming attitude and approach
  • Related job experience
