Our Ownership
Simple Modern Therapy is a privately owned therapy practice based in Salt Lake City. Founded and owned by Heather Holmgren, LMFT, for over 11 years, the practice has built a reputation for relationship-centered, inclusive, and trauma-informed care. In 2024, Andrés Larios Brown, LMFT, joined as co-owner, contributing to the growth of our community-centered mission and clinical excellence.
Funding & Independence
Our practice is privately funded and does not receive grants, outside investments, or corporate sponsorships. This allows us to remain fully independent and client-centered in all decisions—prioritizing quality therapy over profit.
