“We want to be loved and seen and held fully as who we fully are… I think that is a goal that we all have, and it’s universal.”

— Janet Mock

As a Sex Therapist and Trauma-Informed Expert, Krista Uses a Collaborative Approach to Support Healing and Self Discovery

Krista firmly believes that individuals are experts in their own experiences, and their role is to empower and guide those they work with in leveraging their strengths to achieve their goals.

Her methods are rooted in strengths-based and client-centered principles. Krista approaches her work with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, a sex-positive perspective, and a commitment to the biopsychosocial model.

Empowering Individuals and Couples: Exploring Diverse Relationships, Gender, and Sexual Wellness

Krista enjoys teaching workshops on topics such as polyamory as well as gender and sexuality, and has done so at conventions across the country. Their commitment to the field of human sexuality encompasses gender and sexual exploration, as well as addressing subjects such as sexual functioning and partner dynamics. Moreover, Krista enjoys working with clients who have concerns about their relationships, and who are seeking healing and recovery from sexual trauma.

Specialized Sex Therapy: Supporting Diverse Relationships and Alternative Lifestyles

Krista’s focus lies primarily in the realm of sex therapy (individual and relationship), although she offers a wide array of therapeutic services that extend beyond this domain. They are particularly passionate about working with diverse communities and relational structures, including those in alternative lifestyles such as queer, consensual non-monogamy, and kink.
